Frequently Asked Questions

I have answered some of the most frequently asked questions below. However if you need to know something that I have not covered please do not hesitate to contact me.

No. I have portable lights and backgrounds and I can therefore carry out photography sessions at other locations. I visit offices to do corporate headshot sessions and I particularly enjoy visiting dance studios to carry out sessions!

Each of my sessions is different. The length of time varies from 30 minutes to 4 hours, depending on the session you choose. Full details on session lengths is contained on my ‘Services Page’.

The session fee is due at the time of booking. This will secure your photography session date.  You will then be invited back to the studio a week or two after your session, where you will have the opportunity to view all of your edited images and purchase finished products (prints, framed prints, folio boxes, digital images etc). Full payments for all products will be due the day of your viewing session. I accept cash or credit cards.

It depends on the session you have chosen to have at my studio. Some sessions include full hair styling and makeover, whilst others do not. Your package can be completely tailored to your needs and it is entirely up to you what services you want to include with your photoshoot. Full details on what is included with each session are detailed on my ‘Services Page’.

Yes. We have a private car park, with plenty of spaces, which is free for you to use.

Once your session is booked, I will send a ‘Booking Confirmation’ to you. This will provide you with guidelines about your session and includes tips about how to prepare for your session and what to bring with you.

It is very easy to get to my studio whether by public transport or car. If arriving by car, we have a private car park which is free for you to use. If travelling by train, the nearest train station (Dinting) is just a short 10 minute walk away. There is a bus stop within a 5 minute walk, located on High Street East, Glossop.

Once your session is booked, I will send a ‘Booking Confirmation’ to you. This will provide you with guidelines about your session and includes tips about what to wear. I do have a small studio wardrobe which we will use during your shoot. I do always advise that you bring a selection of clothing also, so that we have a good selection to choose from. You can never have too many clothes to choose from!

Of course! Throughout any of my photo sessions, you will receive refreshments. You will be provided with an assortment of drinks and nibbles.  This is determined by the time of day and length of your session.

I have spent a long time learning posing for various body types and different lighting techniques for male vs female, older vs. younger etc.  It is my goal to show you the very best portrait of yourself. It is not your job to be photogenic. I will make sure you feel relaxed and at ease, which will help produce great photographs and I will guide you through every pose. I promise you don’t need to worry about anything!

After your photoshoot session you will be invited back to the studio for a ‘Reveal Session’. This is where your finished edited images will be shown to you. During this session you can select how you would like your finished images producing and look through the variety of products available.

Finished products usually take around 4 weeks to produce, depending on the items you select.
